Some key tone areas are missing. It doesn't seem to capture the full range of the EQ, and it is noticeable. The sound, particularly higher, is very hoarse, almost distorted. The bass cannot convince. Very very disappointed in what I paid $40 for. This item wasn't cheap! I first noticed this when I plugged it in and played Smash Bros. It was almost hard to concentrate, it was that bad. I thought maybe it's a game. So I went to YouTube and played some songs that I know very well. The same thing. Then I connected my AirPods to my phone and the difference was so dramatic. I also used some wired headphones for comparison. Still very different. Not sure if it's my AirPods or the device here, but it was definitely a disappointment.
