I was skeptical and now I can't believe how perfect this product is! Now I'm really wondering why this type of product hasn't ousted aerosol cans from the market. Sprays try to cover up the smell that is already there. Poo-pourri merely prevents the odor from being released from the water. The problem is completely solved, not hidden! I bought Lavender Vanilla and it still has hints of citrus. However, note that the smell is probably not a factor as this product does not mask the smell but prevents it from developing. So it's not the same as really worrying about the taste of that product. You can go through the toilet after using the poo-pourri and you most likely won't smell the spray, and unless you've had a horrible explosion experience you shouldn't smell any at all. This stuff is a bit pricey, but it completely eliminates the odor problem, so it shouldn't even be put in the same aerosol spray category, let alone in the same price range.
