Works with my device - like it should charge my device. I used to have a generic OEM charger that was prone to defects like a faulty cable. However; This adapter got my device working again - after leaving it idle for months. Before I had this adapter, I tried the universal adapter with different plugs, trying to find the right size and polarity. I almost restored it by charging the battery. Power issues have been common in the past, but I've been able to keep the device working for everyday use. When I finally got a new charger; I unpacked it, pocketed it and put it in my dead tablet. Despite the fact that; I have to wait for my device to charge and it takes time to charge the battery. Since I'm blind, I need to find out if my device is charging. It took a visual person watching my device's screen to make sure this adapter was working. I have to adjust the adapter a bit to make the connection because the power connector has a small crack. Now I can write wordplays for my own website and write documents without having to lug around my Chromebook. I was so happy because I don't have to buy a new device or send my device in for exchange through the manufacturer. With a long cord, handy for working on my coffee table at home. This is a great product to charge your device and I love it!
