I bought these shoes KNOWING they didnt have support built in. That is the whole point of a barefoot shoe. I am flatfooted and purposely am trying to build my foot muscles through massage and wearing flat shoes (like God intended imho). That said I cannot speak the to the durability of these shoes, as they run short and I had to return them. They were comfortable though and was disappointed about having to return. Please do not buy these shoes if you are expecting a built in arch. I received what I expected, just runs short. I would like to add shipping did not take long, and the return was equally as quick and painless. I would recommend buying a larger size. I am a size 8 USA and there was no 8 1/2 to purchase.
