This is the first lamp of this style that I was not 100% satisfied with. The pear part is fantastic. Once you have it installed you will want all the bulbs in your caravan/motor home to be the same style. This 50492 is an unusual lamp holder base and the base was slightly shorter than the standard lamp. I had to modify the socket a bit to make it work. You'll love how they glow and use less battery power.
