, this was the first time I crocheted with this yarn. I didn't know it contained polyester with cotton until I got it. Not a big deal as I think it will be fine for hot pads. I crocheted and tested these Hot Pads. I don't want the melting to happen like it does with acrylic yarn. I like these colors although the picture shows a lighter version due to too much light. One thing that didn't particularly intrigue me was that some of the fibers looked torn, as if small bubblegum hairs were visible. I tried to make the worst of it. You can't see it in the photo, but it's there. Maybe that's normal with this yarn. I liked how soft it is. It is thinner than sugar cream cotton but uses the same hook size. Your projects will always turn out great. The color changes in this yarn are shorter than most colored yarns I've used.
