I was a bit surprised when I received these underwear. They are much higher waisted than I had anticipated, but not a big deal. They come up to about an inch or two over my bellybutton. The material feels like your typical 100% cotton blend. Very breathable with extra wide crotch area to accommodate feminine products during that time of the month. I didn’t notice any loose strings around the trim of the ones I received, so the stitching is nice quality.The top waist band is actually double layered, so it is thicker at the top (which would be nice if you’re layering up for cold weather), so it feels a bit heavy if you’re wearing with a camisole/tank top. While I wouldn’t call them "shapewear” they are very form fitting and secure around your belly. And the full coverage bottom would be great for wearing under dresses. I’m not normally a fan of high waisted underwear but these are nice. Anyone who likes the fit of high waisted underwear are sure to enjoy these.
