Excellent speakers. I have other Def Tech speakers and wanted to upgrade my rears so I bought an SR 9040. I installed them and tested the Audyessy sound. Speakers sound great! I placed them slightly lower than the rear height speakers, so I had to adjust the settings to set them up as surround back speakers. When watching movies and TV shows, the audio is very good and a big improvement over the 800 series Cubes I've had before. The setup is a 9.2 configuration with BP 8060 front, 8040 center, A60 Atmos and 9080 surround.
