I am currently using one of the recently purchased DS18B20 temperature sensors to monitor the temperature in my pool. It's sent wirelessly via a solar-powered ESP8266, which wakes up from deep sleep once an hour, to send data over MQTT to a Raspberry Pi Zero W in the house. So far it has worked flawlessly. It should be noted that my original sensor, which I received from another supplier, appeared to short out in less than 15 seconds due to flooding, while my new sensor was submerged in the pool for over a week without missing a reading. . In my opinion, this is a very good sign that these are good products. I will have no problem buying these sensors from this supplier.
