Review on 🐠 Aqueon LED Background Aquarium Hood by Ronnie Segobiano

The Aqueon LED Background Hood was a good buy for me. I had to replace the hood and strip on my 55 gallon Aqueon tank with fluorescent ones. I figured if I had to replace it I might as well go for the LED version as it saves me the expense of replacing the fluorescent tubes over and over again over the life of the aquarium. It was a great purchase. It fits perfectly and exactly with the old tank light kit. The plastic is the same. It's thick, strong and solid. The quality is 100% good. I have no concerns or doubts about this set. A part of the hood is identical to the fluorescent structure. The only difference is the strip part which is universal between fluorescent and LED to fit the hood part. For night lighting, a small blue LED is included in the scope of delivery, which is attached as a toggle switch in the middle. From the Aqueon side: Each light comes pre-installed with a Day White LED bulb but has an expansion slot to add another. Comes with LED moonlight lighting and a 3-way switch to turn on the LED lighting, turn everything off, or turn on the moonlight accent. The perfect upgrade to replace fluorescent tape and fits the appropriately sized Aqueon® Deluxe full hood. If you only need to replace the light strip itself and not the entire hood and lighting system because the ballast may have failed, you can simply order an LED strip if you want to save a few bucks. However, if you buy the entire hood and lighting kit, you can have an extra hood, which makes replacement and cleaning easier as you can simply replace it with a clean one and then clean the old one when you have time. Aqueon Strip LED strip, 24 inch. They also fit my 25 gallon Aqueon tank since it uses the same hood and strip kit as my 55 gallon tank. I would definitely recommend it as a replacement for an Aqueon that uses a lighting system. This Aqueon LED Background Hood did not disappoint.
