I love this bowl, I think the idea is brilliant and it works really well. I have two dogs with beards and with this bowl I no longer have to deal with wet floors because the beard drips after every drink (water stains on carpet are a real problem). The water stays much cleaner and they immediately learned how to use it. My only issue is that although it may have taken a couple of weeks, water got into the disc. I opened it and threw it away, cleaned it and wondered why they didn't just shut it up. Once you open it it seems to loosen up so there is less and less time between needs to drain the water from the disc, now I have to do this every few days. It is very annoying because it is difficult to open and I feel that it will soon be useless. I gave one star for this problem. This article would be perfect if they just sealed the disc watertight. Do it and it's the perfect product.
