I have purchased several trailers with pins and recently bought a Leaf-Vac that used a 2" ball, toggling was quickly becoming obsolete. I looked at several different versions before settling on this one and I'm glad I did. It's made of durable metal, laser cut and powder coated black, it won't crack. Since my hitch was already protruding 6 inches from the back of the mower and I didn't want to extend it any further, I installed mine slightly differently than recommended. I used a ball to hold the build in place, so instead of adding 5 inches, it only added about 2 inches (less likely to catch your shin when I'm running around. I can still point to the holes for a Access safety chain but more than likely I'll never need it.He didn't budge from me but figured I could drill a front hole (one between the ball and the mower) and add a bolt if needed. My neighbor bought so quickly one for his john deere mower i showed him mine we set them up the same way i would recommend this to anyone with 2 different trailer brackets just make sure you have a 3/4" hole or the option have to add one.
