I purchased this knife as a travel knife as I am an avid camper and outdoorsman but it quickly ended up in my kitchen drawer. It has become my favorite for several reasons: 1) It has an incredibly sharp edge (I actually sharpened it when I got it. Knives are never as sharp as you buy them). a few pickles that my Italian mother uses for cooking and a side pocket of my backpack in case it rains. It has never rusted and works great in the dishwasher. It's a bit heavy for its small size, but the handle holds well even when wet and the blade has decent balance. I was surprised, especially compared to the price. I will buy again!
