It is difficult to buy this type of children's clothing online because there are sizes everywhere. My daughter is 6 years old, average height, slim. Size 5/6 fits perfectly. It covers her bum really well and while I wouldn't say it's baggy on her, she will be able to wear it for a long time, she has some room to grow and it doesn't get too tight. and uncomfortable. I don't know what the washing instructions are but I was in the washing machine and then laid out to dry like I do with kids swimwear. I haven't had any issues with the fabric or the stitching coming undone. Really good product.
