Review on 🧵 Embroidery Coin Purse Making Kits: Discover Traditional Chinese Handmade Bags for Women and Girls by Karla Richter

Just finished today! I'm new to embroidery and a complete novice to sewing and I was able to finish this in 3 days by working on it for hours every day. You get everything you need to make a purse, but the picture shows you have 3 needle threaders and 4 bobbins. but I only have 1 needle threader and 2 bobbins. In addition, the eye of the included embroidery needle was too small for 6 threads. And almost all stitches require 6 strands (I decided to change the French knots to 4 strands on mine). I couldn't thread the needle by hand and broke my only needle threader trying to do it this way. Luckily I bought another embroidery kit that had a rather large needle. This set had a water soluble pen that was not pictured. My only complaint is that there is very little English in the instructions. The embroidery part was fairly easy to understand, with photos of the finished product and step-by-step embroidery instructions. But when the embroidery was done I was a bit confused. After that, there are only pictures, there are no English instructions at all, and not every step is in the pictures. I finally noticed the scan code at the top of the guide. Scanning it with your phone will automatically take you to a tutorial video, but none of them are in English. The manual also assumes you have a sewing machine and doesn't show the clasp attachment at all. I followed the instructions step by step whenever I could and headed to YouTube to find out the rest. I love this set! I think that's a good price for all you get. I would definitely buy another one and recommend to friends/family. My finished bag might be a little wobbly on one side haha. and the stitching securing the clasp was almost impossible to hide. but I'm really very proud of my cute little bag! :-)
