These athletic shoes have a mesh upper that will be essential in summer. I don't like sandals or go without socks, so I need shoes that allow my feet to breathe but don't expose them to sharp objects or sunburn. The pattern I chose was more muted than I expected, more saturated and fading into pastel tones on the other side of the shoe. These are good old sneakers, not athletic or supportive shoes. I think you can put in orthotics but they can get tight for me, there is no bigger size for me. It's just for me to walk around on business. I really like this set of patterns and I'm eyeing at least one more pair. I was skeptical as I find visiting shoe stores to be torture. But these For U designs have been a great deal for me. They take a few weeks to ship but it didn't matter to me. As long as I can find decent shoes for less than $50 that fit and don't look like old women's shoes, I can wait. They appear to be well made. I didn't find any weird seams or bumps that I usually do when shopping for shoes. I think I'll take a few more.
