Review on ☕️ Ultimate Coffee Experience: Nespresso BNV550GLB Vertuo Next Espresso Machine with Aeroccino by Breville in Gloss Black by Anastazja Woitiul ᠌

The product is faulty in some way, I definitely won't buy it again.

In general, the trick of Vertuo Next is that all the information on how to prepare a particular type of coffee is written on the barcode of each capsule, and therefore the idea is that making coffee should be super easy and require minimal attention. It turned out that it is much easier for me to simply press the button the required number of times in a classic capsule coffee machine, thereby choosing the amount of coffee I need for my cup. And in a conventional coffee maker, I generally regulate everything myself, as it is more convenient and tastier for me. I tried 12 different flavors of coffee of different varieties, volumes, with different flavors. And honestly, they are nothing compared to freshly roasted and freshly ground Specialty coffee, which can be brewed in a carob coffee maker or even in a French press. Tastes differ a little from each other, but not very much, but each of them has a persistent shade of burntness and bitterness. In this, they are a bit like ordinary Nespresso capsules, although it seemed to me that ordinary small capsules have an even brighter and more interesting taste palette. At least, I strongly differ their tastes from each other, and for Vertuo capsules, it seems that the difference is due only to a portion of coffee and the time of brewing the capsule. The coffee foam is thick, but falls off very quickly, and therefore the seemingly beautiful effect is quite short-lived.

Pros
  • The Vertuo Next is a little quieter than the horn, but about the same volume as the regular Nespresso. The capsules are gigantic, but, of course, they look enchanting. They really attract the eye, and I want to try them all at once and right now :) Beautiful packaging is still an important aspect. I think it even affects the perception of taste :)
Cons
  • The coffee machine itself turned out to be just huge, I did not expect it to be of such a size. It's even bigger than my regular carob coffee maker and three times the size of a small classic Nespresso. And in management, too, it seemed to me very cumbersome. It has a hefty massive "lid" and a repetitive mechanism that locks the lid in the closed state, and all this is very large, and it was necessary to make direct efforts to close this lid and block it. And the sensations in the process were constantly "as if not to break." When you close the lid, it pierces holes in the capsule, and this happens somehow heavily and loudly. In a regular Nespresso, this can be done with almost one finger, but here you had to use both hands. Of course, pressing just once on the button is, on the one hand, convenient. It seems like you don’t have to think about how much time to spill this or that kind of coffee. But the volumes of finished coffee are clearly sewn in the barcodes of the capsules, and I had to look for cups of the right size throughout the apartment, and I didn’t have absolutely perfect ones. So she also kind of obliges to buy new and suitable cups .
