This is my 5th Dash Cam Purchase so far, and a 2nd AWESAFE. I have been buying budget versions to make sure I have something if there is any bad incident. I had pretty good experience from my first AWESAFE cam (dual camera). That Dash Cam is still going strong after about 2 years. AWESAFE customer service was also very responsive and accommodative so that made me look for another AWESAFE again this time.Another reason I picked this one is because it does NOT have a suction mount. I have had more suction mounts (Cell phone holders, GPS mounts, Dash Cam Mounts etc.) go bad on me than I can remember. Dash Cams are supposedly "install and forget" kind of devices so sticky mount works well. (I actually used a Velcro tape like ones that come with EZPass. Velcro or sticky tape, the Camera does snap-off of its base without needing to remove the sticky base. I say practice it a few times before your mount it.)Here are short bullets that I think make this a good buy:0. I got a very good price when it was on sell. I hope you too!1. It is small enough to tuck it behind the Rear-View mirror, out of usual line-of-sight and not much of a distraction.2. It does its basic job of recording very well. Pretty decent image quality day and night.3. Menu is easy to go thru. Most everything can be left at default except date and time.4. Offline battery appears to be quite long. My previous cameras had batteries that barely lasted a minute or two with the car off. With this cam, I got many minutes (30+) of recording. I will need to double check though. Longer battery would be useful to catch any incidents when your cars is parked, and no power is going to the Dash Cam. Another benefit of Longer battery is to unmount your camera from the plug to go thru settings, or view a clip or two. I am not sure how long the battery lasts with the screen on but it was more than enough for me to go thru the menu several times.5. No Suction Mount. I am not a fan of suction mounts as they seem to go bad, or drop on you during severe cold or heat.6. Sticky Mount does let Camera snap-off of its sticky base plate. You don't have to remove the sticky base mount to remove camera from the windshield. Gently tug the camera towards the Right of vehicle.7. Bonus : The Specs don't say so, but mine came with a USB MicroSD card reader. Most MicroSD cards come with SD card attachment, but the USB reader is much more practical, and on more devices and TVs.8. Bonus : Another little surprise is that the Charger Cable has a USB Charge port. This is very useful if you have only one Cigarette lighter plug in your vehicle. May be this is standard in all Dash Cams now-a-days but none of my earlier camera chargers had it.For future versions/Improvements :1. Velcro Mounts please!2. Screen angle while mounted. However, camera does come off of its mounting plate so this is not much of an issue.3. The Camera Angle Adjuster leaver looks delicate. However, its not like you need to change it often other than very first time.
