We haven't counted them but there are many. We also didn't pick up the pieces after using them and they seemed to disappear. We filled the wheelbarrow halfway with water and then set the spray nozzle on the garden hose set to jet and the lowest spray setting. The nozzles that come with the balloons are useless. I filled and tied the balloons and my girls tied the balloons. When we finished binding, we threw them into a water truck. Once full, it was a water balloon battle lasting minutes. The children loved it and later invited the neighbors to come and fight with water balloons. The purchase was made with the intention of entertaining all children and it was worth it. We still have plenty left for next time.
