32" waist, ordered the mediums with zippered side pockets. Fits exactly as a medium 8" inseam should fit. I don't like overly tight waist bands and these are just snug enough to stay up without being so tight they are uncomfortable. The inseam falls about an inch above the knees and they are a nice trim fit. I like these kind of shorts for home workouts/wearing around the house and the zippered pockets are a nice touch so your hands don't get caught in the pockets during workouts. The bottoms have a cut but sewn look that I like. I've ordered a few other fleece shorts from revain and these are the best fitting so far. The draw string is thick and long enough it shouldn't get sucked into the shorts waistband during washes.
