Review on Roswheel Race Series 131432 Ultralight Bike Saddle Bag Bicycle Under Seat Pouch Cycling Wedge Pack For Road Bike by Darin Schaffer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Probably not the best choice to use with a dropper post.

I ordered this for my dual suspension carbon MTB knowing, the dropper would be a problem for the front attachment. I thought l would figure something out. The " knuckle" type seat attachment on a Fox dropper post really provided nothing l could work with. An hour later l gave up and decided maybe l would have better luck on my hard tail. A longer rear seat mounting bolt, a spacer with a rounded end on top, and a curved strip of aluminum supports the front of the bag and provides an attachment point for the front strap that will clear the dropper base. The rear support straps thread through slots in the foam block so the bag doesn't just fold up in the center when the straps are tensioned. (I had to relocate a Velcro pad on one of those straps). A small added angle bracket let me move the reflector alongside the bag,so the reflector always stays with the bike . So now l have enough room for a can of beer and small bag of peanuts. And l still need a bag for the first bike.

Pros
  • ‎0.8-Liter
Cons
  • Can get in the way when mounting or dismounting the bike
