Review on Enhance Your Outdoor Photography with Vortex Optics High Country II Tripod Kit by Sean Fabacher

Bought for hunting game. Because I wanted a tripod that would support my big redfield scope and this one works great. Yes, it's a bit heavy, but that's my scope. The platform fits snugly on it and you can get spares for whatever else you use the tripod for. The head rotates well and is padded to prevent rocking with a heavy object on it. It would have been better to have at least a foam covered shoulder upper, but I've adapted. The leg sections use a clip which is preferred over twist locks. Slides out easily and the B-pillar adds just enough length to keep your optics at eye level for my height (5ft 8in). Even taller people can get them up to 62.5 inches. I prefer this variant of the Optics Pro GT (which may be phased out) as it's better suited for still photography as the head is tilted to the side and slightly heavier.
