I have hot and cold packs everywhere and I have this buddy in the car so I can take it to work and use the rear brace to secure it to my back and waist area. I just cover it, put it in a grocery bag, heat it in the microwave, shake it, flip it and try not to overheat it and save it for my team and moisture. Humidity determines how hot it gets and how long it stays warm. I am very happy with it. The beat is very soothing.
