Review on mCover iPearl Hard Shell Case - Clear, for HP Chromebook 14 G2 Series (14-Q010NR, 14-Q020NR, 14-Q029WM, 14-Q030NR, 14-Q070NR, etc) - 14-inch Laptops by Scot Hughes

I chose this case for my teal Chromebook 14 after my current black laptop case started to 'smudge' the Chromebook's rubberized plastic case, especially around the edges. Pros: The transparent case allows those who bought a coral red or teal Chromebook to retain the case's vibrant color. The body is completely transparent, allowing the original color to remain as vivid as ever. It's very light and thin. For my purpose it does what it needs to without adding much bulk. There's a bit more ledge at the bottom, just for better airflow. Very easy to put on/take off. Foldable legs on the bottom provide a good grip when typing on flat surfaces. : Sometimes simply reconfiguring a Chromebook can loosen one of the attachment points on the case. - The upper case slightly blurs the HP and Chromebook logo. "I wouldn't drop it on the floor. Depreciation is not very. This case is much better suited for cosmetic coverage than for this type of drop/damage protection. - Rubberized plastic around the connectors (USB, HDMI, etc.). I have yet to see if this causes further "coloring" but I'm hoping the general separation from the original surface will prevent this. Interface found on the Chromebook 14. While not intended to be used as a bumper, it works well for the purpose it was purchased for. I love my case and I'm sure my Chromebook will look bright and new for years to come, longer than alone. Worth the money in my opinion.
