I'm new to watercolor painting and bought these to see what they can do. The choice of colors is quite good. The colors are pretty vibrant and the markers dry quickly, much faster than regular watercolors. You can use markers to create both thicker and thinner lines. And you can see from the attached image that you can do some quick and fun jobs. I would probably use these markers for gaming rather than serious drawing attempts. They're also good for traveling, especially with a plastic carrying case. These colors will NOT mix like regular watercolors. So the colors you get are the colors you have to work with. I would still recommend working from light to dark like you would with regular watercolor paint though. The included notebook is small, with very few sheets, so don't think it's a significant giveaway. I can't say how long these markers will last. I remember to close the lid tightly after each use. And I haven't had to do any cleaning yet, so I'm not sure how easy it is to remove paint from clothes. (parents be careful) When I have more information I will update this review.
