I gave this title because I ended up sending this antenna back. At my location in northern San Diego County, the transmitters are close but not in sight. Too hilly. So, earlier I combined 2 old antennas in the attic and routed them to 2 main transmitters with decent but not perfect results. Thought I'd try this new omnidirectional antenna to see if I could get better results with a single external antenna. It looks decent enough for our suburb. Alone it worked well with a 15 mile transmitter but did not reach the 32 mile transmitter. So I thought I'd combine it with one of the other old antennas and then it would be great. However, there was no combination of antennas or amplifiers that would allow this antenna to work AT ALL. Right, 0 signal, black screen. This antenna works only with itself and does not reach 32 miles in San Diego County. So I got my old system working again for now. Maybe the older ones will be attached outside. FYI: I am an experienced engineer who has been involved in electronics for a long time.
