I wouldn't buy it - Computers and accessories

There is a better anchor 7 in 1 without ethernet for half the price. Has the best PD. The reason I advise against buying this is because it is not flat. Since it's square and round, it will twist and turn. The only way to make it sit still is to literally pin it to the table. I've used this with a 12" MacBook (discontinued in 2016) and the number of times attached hard drives would spin down when I was coughing is ridiculous. It's not like the USB 3 drive is disconnected from the hub, but any movement of the hub will temporarily disconnect the USB C connection to the MacBook. Using a flat sleeve is much more stable. I love Anker products but this sucks. If only someone could make a hub that actually flushes with a MacBook that would be ideal, but they don't as they are all 2-port USB-C hubs to support both Air and MBP. If you have it, be sure to fasten it or any movement will separate it from the MacBook. Before I got a new one, I just plugged all the hard drives directly into the MacBook's USB-C port.
