These incredibly tiny EWA speakers are amazing. I have both A106 and A109mini. No paid review. I spontaneously got hold of one of the EWA A106 models because of the selling price. I was intrigued to hear it because of its very small size, because it has a metal body and because of a photo showing what it is as a DSP chip (a complex computer chip that allows the manufacturer to have better control over the sound quality) and a passive one Bass radiator (which lets through a lot more bass with small speakers). I was very surprised when he showed up. Very small, very heavy for its size and the sound was better than most speakers 3x bigger. You can actually enjoy music with it as long as it's not too heavy. My friend was so impressed that I had to give it to him for a trip to Spain. It replaces the much larger "Oontz" speaker that sounds almost as good. I decided to try the A109mini instead of my A106 and I like this A109Mini a bit more. A NOTICE. There is also the EWA A109 which is bigger and different than the A109Mini. They are almost identical in size, weight and sound quality. The 106 model comes with a carrying case, but this A109 does not. However, there are almost no controls on the A106. You can't pause the music or adjust the volume through the speaker. This A109 has a very handy multi-position control switch that allows you to skip tracks, pause music, and increase and decrease the volume. It has other features that I haven't tried, but I don't like reaching for my phone to pause the music. I haven't tried TFcard playback, but if you want to use it without a phone, this is a good option. Bluetooth on A106 and A109mini works great. I'm very satisfied and these little speakers really amaze everyone who sees and hears them.
