I found the video very helpful for the setup, although it was fairly easy. The only downside is that I wish they had a handle on top of the drawer as there is no point if you assemble the drawer the handle will end up on the bottom of the drawer unless it is collapsed! I like the canvas which is like a cover that rolls up into a viewing window and makes the crate look less like a barren cage. It's strong but not very durable and can easily be wheeled from one room to another. I got the 30" so my little Shorka has more freedom of movement in the cage and loves the space. She is already cage accustomed and I've heard that the smaller one is too small and doesn't want her to feel caged , but more like a cozy place to snuggle in. I bought a 30" pillow that perfectly matched her pup and blanket.
