The goods were packaged very well, so there was no damage in transit. That. I was looking for a fountain that gives off a nice, gentle ripple and this fountain is closer than any I've gotten. I have to give 1 star for the sole reason that the water pool was empty in less than an hour and water all over the counter. It wasn't from a leak but from splashing water from the pool. I assume a small amount of water will not drop below safe operating levels within an hour of use. This could be avoided simply by increasing the area where the water flows to resist splashing, or by making the basin deep enough to resist splashing while still providing adequate water coverage for the pump. The pump is also quite noisy. If you're installing this somewhere without running water as a decorative piece, that's fine. As a working indoor fountain I would absolutely not recommend this purchase and fully intend to return it. Very frustrating because it looks very nice but just isn't functional.
