I bought it in 2012 and drove 50 miles before the problems started. The carburetor worked fine at idle, but choked with a strong press on the accelerator pedal. Unfortunately, after spending $1,000 installing the intake manifold and carburetor, I couldn't afford to fix it. After finally being able to spin the bill, I was told that the inside of the carburetor was clogged and the coating was peeling off and clogging the small internal chambers. I only got 50 miles on the carb before it became unsafe to drive. I have since bought another 1406 through my mechanic and it works fine but he said reforming is never a good idea for carbs.
