So I bought five of these within two years as they were cheap and were lasting less and less over that time. The first pairs lasted a couple of months, which is fine when you can buy headphones with a mic for less than $10 (they once cost $13). However, my last two pairs didn't even last me a month. This latest pair didn't even last a week when the mic body shattered with no way to close it and my sound reverberated from the start. The one before that lasted several weeks before the cable came loose from the socket with little effort (seated while it was in my pocket). Mind you, I'm careful with my headphones and only use them for phone calls, which I use for maybe a few hours a day overall. I am very disappointed with the drop in quality in terms of durability and will not be buying another pair.
