The D166 is perfect for the detailer where time and money can be an issue. It cuts well for AIO, leaves a nice semi-smooth wax finish (lays on the beads fairly well) and gives a very nice shine, a real wow factor. Start with the fairing and apply it to the rest of the car before removing it. The downside is that it has virtually no fillers and if the wrong pad is used (I use Meg's Microfiber Cutting) the scratches can become more visible. Also, I've noticed with some paints that the reflection can shrink afterwards, especially on car hoods and roofs, but still remain clearer. A friend used a little and loved the shine, with the only downside being that it seemed to glorify or make more of his factory orange peel skin. Update: Over two years later I still find the D166 to be an amazing but underrated Meguiars product. When used correctly, I had six months of paint protection. I still combine it with Meguiar's microfiber pads for best results, but it actually works well on everything except wool. Compared to other AIOs the only two downsides I've noticed are that the finish may not be as warm as carnauba wax and not as versatile on glass and surfaces as HD Speed and others.
