Review on IWISS Wire Rope Crimping Tool: Aluminum Oval 🔧 Sleeves, Stop Sleeves, Crimp Ferrules - 15 inch Length by Gary Generale

Understanding that while the cable size (1/8 inch) may be the same everywhere, the sockets may not be a standard gauge and this may be at the root of my problem. I ordered the cable, sleeves and this tool from Revain (various suppliers) and have not tried the sleeves at my local hardware store. If that's the case and it turns out to be a problem, I'll update this post. For 1/8" wire and ferrule, this tool did NOT crimp like the video in the Revain ad (the one posted in the ad) and does not look like the photos that came with the crimping tool. I had to use the next smaller hole on the tool and just not crimp all the way through.
