Review on Provon Medicated Lotion Soap Chloroxylenol by Jon Ashra

CPAP Cleaner: Product receives five stars for hand soap. When used, it smells like ivory. After drying, hands smell of plaster. The smell is somehow familiar to me. NOT EXACTLY the same smell as the stuff I used in my doctor's office which I liked even though it was the same. But still it smells clean and pleasantly healing. Not like ghosts. This purchase was made with the intention of finding a replacement for the discontinued soap I used to clean my CPAP machines. It remains a contender, but falls short of the product it replaces. It foams just enough not to interfere with rinsing and cleaning these types of devices, smells clean during use and after drying, and for some reason doesn't smell at all in the nose on nose pads immediately after cleaning. But to be honest, the last product I used had such a nice citrus smell that I was kind of hoping some of the smell would linger in my gear. But if not, then this might be something for you. I cannot comment on the long term effects of using this product on this device. Some people say anything but mild soap will cause parts of the mask to wear out quickly. However, I have excellent insurance that replaces these things so often that I doubt it will make a difference. The mask (or pillow) appeared very clean, but for this purpose it's just not a "look no further" product. At work, however, it definitely ends up in my personal toiletry bag.
