I bought this water bottle because I always break my water bottles at work by knocking them over or dropping them. Everything about this water bottle is metal except for the rubber seal to ensure a proper seal. I've dropped it countless times and despite the many dents and scratches, it still hasn't broken. It really was everything I was looking for in a water bottle. So if you keep dropping and breaking your water bottle, this could be a good solution for you. The only downside is that sometimes when you tighten the cap on the bottle, the rubber seal twists and it doesn't seal properly. This is easily fixed by simply loosening and retightening the lid, but sometimes it causes me to spill some water.
