This product appears to be made of high quality plastic and will fit most phones. It's designed for big phones, Go Pros and compact digital cameras, so DO NOT try to use it with a DSLR! The tripod held very well to the cantilever on my C-pillar, assuring me it wouldn't drop my phone. The tripod also has rubber feet to prevent it from sliding on a table or other surface. Now for the bad: the remote shutter release didn't work at all on my Samsung Note 5, every time I pressed the button the camera just zoomed in all the way. Maybe they're working on it right now. As a photographer, I can use this tripod in settings like parks and tabletop events where I don't have the luxury of an assistant but need to shoot video. Overall this is a quality product at a very reasonable price, although there are issues with the remote I'm sure they will fix it at some point. Given the circumstances, I would buy this product again.
