I've used this straightener for many years and it always does a great job. I accidentally dropped it and broke one of the panels so I had to replace it. Always wanting to "upgrade" or change it, I started looking for high end rectifiers, researched, watched YouTube videos/read articles and finally settled on the latest and most popular rectifier I could find ( Babyliss Pro if anyone is interested). It came in and while it was more expensive, it looked and felt a lot cheaper than the Croc. I applied it to my hair twice and didn't like it at all, it wasn't straightened evenly and strangely the plates didn't push to the end? Returned immediately and bought a new crocodile. Works phenomenal. Don't mess with the good, stick with this straightener.
