Not really bad for a chinese junk. It's sturdy, nicely chromed, clips of acceptable quality. Use a voltmeter to calibrate the meter on the tester using the meter's "zero" setting. I calibrated it to be most accurate between 6V and 12V. Hook it up to a battery, read the battery reading with a decent voltmeter, and set the meter on this tester to read the same reading. A note: the tester is reluctant to work at 50 degrees or less, after heating up from the load coil everything worked fine. However, if it is cold when you first connect it to the battery it may read very low or even zero.
