I am a man. I love western style belts and this one has a very nice design. Too bad it isn't sold as unisex because as soon as I put this "female" belt on, it became "male". I have an old western belt that I bought from JCPenny in the 90's. In comparison, this belt is a bit light and flimsy. I would have liked a little more bulk. "Skin" is fake, but so far it works fine. I bought a 1 inch piece of leather from Revain for $10 and replaced the fake that came with this belt. It looks better and I can be sure it will last a lot longer. I still love metal parts, but faux leather sucks. I wish they would just use real leather and charge $10 more. I'm removing 2 stars from my original 4 star rating for crappy strap material that didn't last long.
