Review on 🧁 Bakerpan Silicone Mini Cake Pan: Set of 6 Large Muffin Cups, 3 1/2 Inch Baking Cups for Perfect Treats by Erin Lowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect in all areas (don't worry about the 1 star rating)

Looking for the best silicone muffin liners and I think this is the closest. After reading reviews of others with incredibly clean burrs, I chose this one because it's smooth.1. NO SMELL AND PLEASANT TASTE. Yes, they smell like silicone from the packaging, but after 2 hand washes (just in case: 1 might be enough) they were fine. There was a slight smell after washing. But baked blueberry muffins and no single use smell. And the cupcakes didn't take on a silicone smell. Repeat: wash them first, even wash them twice with dishwashing liquid right on them, and they should be ok after one use. 2. EASY TO CLEAN. Very easy to clean with a quick hand wash.3. 100% SILICONE. They pass the pinch test and remain solid throughout.4. MINIMUM SHELF LIFE OF FOOD. Just used them for blueberry muffins while on vacation for 3 weeks. Two recipes were used: one with spelled flour, one with baking mix. Both rose very well with minimal crumbs clinging to the sides. I think each individual baker's specific recipe will dictate the level of sticking. The spelled recipe was more sticky, but the muffins still popped out of the pan slightly. The Bisquick recipe popped up right away, leaving the cups almost clean.5. THE SIZE CORRECTED. The diameter from the center of each top edge is 3.5 inches. I like the size very much. A reviewer who used them for cupcakes in cups shouldn't have expected it to work. For cupcakes in a cup you need a cup-high cup with a rim. Cups. They make amazing cupcakes! 6. DEFINITELY DURABLE. Just place them on the pizza stone to use them. I wrote the recipe in it. I liked them so much that I kept the original set, which we used again next summer, and immediately bought another set to take home. Twice the same. Washed twice. Still had a slight silicone smell; I baked muffins with non-silicone flavored Oni, there were more crumbs with spelled, muffin cases made from the biscuit mass came out cleaner.
