I remember one of my uncles said he never washed his back with soap. He just let the shower water hit him while the shampoo dripped off his head. Don't worry, he's been mocked for that for years. I bought a couple of these handle stools hoping they would be strong and wouldn't fall apart. I've been using it for 2 months now with no problems. It lathers well and holds the lather well. It rinses easily and is still attached to the handle. I don't know if you can buy them cheaper in store but I would never look for them.
