We have a narrow area where the toilet is in the bathroom next to the tub shelves so we needed something to hold the roller in the closet door next to the toilet can . We tried regular spring-loaded TP holders, but we couldn't drill through the closet door to hold them (and the hanging strap wouldn't hold it), and we couldn't put a hanger over the door. So far this scheme has worked well. My only wish was that the open end of the dowel could be flipped, but that's not possible. The roll is only placed on / removed from the dowel on the right.
