The benefit of the doubt is that they are real and are colored to "enhance" the stones. A lapis lazuli ring does not look like lapis lazuli in real life. It looks like plastic. The witch hazel removed the color. And just like my jewelry, I boil/smear them with Florida water. I end up with paint on my hands. I'll let you know when my finger turns green! I like the design of the ring but I doubt it is real lapis lazuli. For the price it's too good to be true but I really liked the style and was hoping for the real deal.
