Appearance and size are okay, not a big bulky stereo. (That's why I gave 2 stars) but it's nonsense to bother with the arm weight and adjust it. I tried 3 absolutely good vinyls. Each pass on the 1st track. Since the arm doesn't stand on its own, it wouldn't allow me to try another caterpillar. It just didn't get past the first song. Now there are scratches on the same vinyls. THANK YOU SeeYing! I'm not a silly yes senior who just retired with a 26 1/2 year old OTR lady truck driver. So I can assure you that I have all my skills! (laughs) I bought this player to record something on USB. But today was the first time I sat on it and I just wanted to listen. I wanted to record later in the week because I'm going on vacation next week and wanted to listen to some of my old tunes. Well it's toliet! Maybe you young techies can handle it better.
