I had this recommended to me, and I am very satisfied with it. I am a trainer, I've had canvas belts and also thick old school leather belts. I love this one, its very supple, and ready to go out of the box. No need for break in. Make sure you size for your true waist size not you pant size. Medium worked great for me I wear a size 30 waist in pants, it also worked for my nephew who is a size 28 albeit he was second to the last holes. I say this because sizing can be confusing at least for me it was.I was close to going with small but medium is perfect.anyways this is a great belt well worth the money!
