Zippered bottom. This means there is no point for a heavier pet to have a zipper to hold the bottom/base of it. I understand it's easy to store or disassemble, but that's not a priority. The use of fabric is also fine. I have another smaller one for the same price and it's real. Wanted a bigger one for my heavier cat but unfortunately it seems like the mass production and sale of new "trendy" stuff is happening so fast that they forget to really understand the purpose of the product they are making or selling consider. Pets are children, when I try to find things as such and spend money, then I take care of my pets and I want a quality thing. Also, my cat I was planning to use it on weighs 29 pounds. We're working on it.
