I don't use the term 'brilliant' very often, but this thing is brilliant. It mounts next to the switch and is held on the switch cover. No extra screws, glue, tape, nails, welding, or a kid standing at the switch and holding the remote. It took me 2 minutes to build and 2 minutes to install. If you need to install ceiling fan remote controller, this is your best choice. A word from the manufacturer: if you could do something similar, but instead install it above or below the switch, I would be infinitely grateful. . Sometimes the switch is mounted in a small space between two door frames.
