Review on Lenovo Thinkpad Mini Dock 433710U by Christopher Shavers

Just bought this for my Thinkpad X220 but the USB ports are not working so I had to spend hours trying to find a solution. It turned out to be a problem with the USB driver, but it was a lot of trial and error. .Here's what I needed to do ===================Updated BIOS, updated drivers to support USB 3.0 and other chipset related issues, applied multiple updates from Lenovo. My operating system completely crashed after all this, so I had to run an automatic repair. I also enabled USB Always ON feature in BIOS. After all the chaos, something helped. Finally, all of my USB ports work in the Mini Dock. How painful. If you are facing the same problem, make sure that all drivers are up to date and you have applied the fixes recommended by Lenovo (especially the one for USB).
