I had my eye on another brand that looked like this one but came with an extra tube and was $3 more. I figured I should save the money since this is something I could easily and cheaply make myself. This one is OK but it's clear that the bare minimum of effort is spent on them. The edges and ends of the wood base could use smoothing. No splinters or anything but no commitment to quality either. If I keep it, I'm going to sand it. Otherwise, it functions well. I like the flat bottoms on the tubes. Handy if you need to use them without the base.Update: I sanded and re-stained and I'm much happier with this. If you already have sandpaper and stain on hand, save a few bucks and get this one. If not, it might be worth a few extra bucks for better quality.
